No-Bake Lemon Turmeric Energy Bites

The first time I tried turmeric, I was skeptical. I was in a trendy, New York City cafe known for its clean eating menu. My go-to order (iced chai) was nowhere to be found. On a whim, I ordered a turmeric latte. It was New York, it was trendy, and it seemed like the thing to do. I found myself pleasantly surprised at how much I loved the strong, vibrant flavor. While turmeric lattes have yet to replace my morning go-to, I’ve definitely embraced this powerful super spice in other recipes. In these No-Bake Lemon Turmeric Energy Bites, this vibrant spice contributes a bold flavor that pairs well with zesty lemon, creating a flavorful, energy-boosting snack.

Bold Flavors, Big Energy

With a unique, unmistakable flavor and vibrant color, there’s no denying that turmeric is a showstopper. However, the most impressive thing about this spice is its high-profile nutritional resume. Turmeric may be ultra-trendy in the clean-eating community these days, but its history as a supplement and medicinal herb goes back thousands of years.

With high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory qualities, turmeric is an extremely valuable detox agent. It helps promote healthy digestion, which keeps your metabolism humming. It can also help prevent those heavy and sluggish feelings that follow a meal.

While turmeric is the star of the show here, these No-Bake Lemon Turmeric Energy Bites also feature plenty of other clean, energy-boosting ingredients. Superfoods like chia seeds and dates add flavor, texture, and plenty of nutrients to keep you full and focused. Pistachios, almond extract, and shredded coconut also add rich flavor, taking these bites from healthy snack to tasty treat.

Combined, these powerful ingredients pack bold flavor and impressive nutritional profiles into one high-powered energy bite.

These bites have an amazing flavor profile. They’re all at once sweet, bold, and zesty. They also make a perfectly healthy solution for my sweet tooth cravings! It’s great to have a healthy snack on-hand that also feels like a sweet treat.
